Last month, MDSL held its RPM User Group at UBS' offices in London. The event was an opportunity for the users and managers of RPM to make sure they were included in discussions for redesigning the product.
An optional add-on to MDSL's Market Data Manager (MDM) database, Request & Procurement Manager (RPM) allows users to review all their market data entitlements and raise their own requests for moves, new additions, changes and deletions (MACD) – via an easy-to-use, intuitive web-based interface.
It’s important that MDSL's solution has all the functionality to keep pace with clients' ever-changing needs, and this User Group ensured they were part of the discussion, with MDSL customers voting to decide on the next items to be developed. Roadmap items included Vendor Ordering APIs, Re-Authorisation and Self-Cert enhancements.
The event allowed the MDSL team to meet users face to face and gave customers a forum to present ideas or voice concerns that will help MDSL redesign RPM and future products that satisfy business requirements.
Following the success of the London RPM User Group, MDSL will organise follow-up sessions in the coming months and set up RPM User Groups in North America.
