MDSL Events 2017 - March & April

Mar 27, 2017

In March and April, MDSL are hosting several exciting events for both our Market Data Management (MDM) and Technology Expense Management (TEM) customers and guests, presenting opportunities to see the latest development on our platform, directly influence the development of our expense management solutions and network with other professionals from global enterprises.

March 14th marked the first of our events - our MDM User Group in Paris. The day started with presentations about new features and functionality MDSL have been developing, followed by interactive sessions in the afternoon to give our clients the opportunity to ask questions, talk about ideas and help us focus our Development Roadmap. We were very pleased with how successful the day was, as there was a great turnout from our Paris based clients and we received a lot of positive feedback from those who attended.

March 23rd was our MDM Toronto Invoice Processing Focus Group at the Richmond-Adelaide Center. The event was a half-day session to share the best practices for processing market data invoices and an opportunity for peer to peer discussions on the processes unique to the Canadian market. The focus group was very well received, with clients remarking that it was fantastic to see all of their peers, and understand that their challenges are similar to those faced by other Canadian firms.

On March 24th we held our MDM Hong Kong User Group at the Euro Trade Centre. Here our customers were not only introduced to some of our newly developed features but also learned about MDSL’s developments in 2016 and the roadmap moving forward. Attendees were also given a chance to see some of the newer MDSL solutions available such as our Index License Manager (ILM), Application Compliance Manager (ACM), and Transaction Reconciliation Reporting (TRR).

This week, in New York City we are hosting our MDM New York User Group, where customers and guests will have interactive experiences with MDSL’s main MDM product as well as introductions to our newer MDSL solutions. Our guest speaker Morgan Downey, author and CEO of Money.Net will be presenting a fascinating talk on the ‘Industry Effects of Oil Markets’, discussing the reasons for the 2014 oil pricing collapse and why the oil marketplace is more important to you than you might think!

On April 5th- 6th,  join us at the perfect Four Seasons in Dallas for our North American Technology Expense Management User Group and Showcase. The User Group will give MDSL’s North American customers and guests an opportunity to talk about how to maximize the benefits of TEM. Keynote speeches will be from MDSL’s very own CEO Ben Mendoza and Arrow Value Recovery’s Global Director Ryan Laber. At this User Group, there will be a live demonstration area where you will be able to meet the product managers and learn about the newest developments at MDSL.
The showcase will allow companies who are just learning about the TEM industry and our solutions to join our customers for the day. The event closes with a Round-Table discussion where guests can ask our staff and customers about our products, the industry and the challenges of implementing a TEM solution globally.

Our most recent TEM User Group and Showcase was hosted in London last September, giving our EMEA clients a chance to see our development roadmap for the next 12 months as well as an opportunity to give feedback on our Smart Dashboard Reporting platform.

In addition to our events, we look forward to returning to AOTMP’s Fixed and Mobile Telecoms Management Conference in Orlando as a marquee sponsor. This year we are delighted to announce MDSL’s CEO Ben Mendoza and Software Architect Ed Godshaw will both be presenting on Tuesday April 11th. Ben Mendoza will be talking about what separates the brilliantly successful TEM projects from the ones that fail and the approaches needed to be successful in your TEM project. Our Software Architect, Ed Godshaw will be discussing how to fully utilize MDSL’s self-service reporting tools to gain insights into your telecoms estate. Be sure to catch their talks and to visit us at our booth!
